Short Information: The Navy has announced its prestigious cadet entry program for high school graduates to join the permanent commission, where the Indian Navy entirely sponsors a 4-year engineering degree. 60 posts (30 for Mechanical Engineering, 30 for Electronics & Communication Engineering). Shortlisting is strictly based on the JEE (Main) 2026 Common Rank List (CRL), followed by the SSB interview.

Compensation & Benefits

For both entries, once commissioned at the rank of Sub Lieutenant, the starting basic pay is ₹56,100 per month (Level 10), which scales up quickly to an approximate gross salary of ₹1,10,000 to ₹1,20,000 per month when factoring in Military Service Pay (MSP), Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other naval allowances.
